This street Festival includes, the POP UP Bleach* art galleries in Surf World’s car park, roving performances, children’s workshops and music performances by stellar acts, King Tide (Syd), Band of Frequencies (Byron), A French Butler Called Smith (Gold Coast) and The Lamplights (Gold Coast) just to name a few.

Bleach* Street will also see the world theatrical premiere of the much-loved Gold Coast children’s book, The Surfer and The Mermaid, which has been transformed into a children’s production (sessions at 1pm, 2.30pm and 4pm). This production is taking place inside Surf World Gold Coast.

If that’s not enough action for you, peruse Bleach* Street’s outdoor designer market stalls presented by The Village Markets and Coolangatta Craft Markets, or visit one of the nearby attractions Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Surf World Gold Coast

We also have workshops scheduled for the day that include:

Print your own Bleach T-shirt stall where you can screen print your very own Bleach* T–Shirt. Select your shirt colour and PSI Screen Printing will show you how to create your Bleach* shirt with a speciaI screen design, developed in a collaboration between PSI and a Bleach* featured Artist.

Children’s sea collage workshop with Kellie O’Dempsey – Free from 11am – 5pm

Free Face Painting will also be running from 11am - 2pm.

The festivities will spill over to the night-time art projections at nearby Elephant Rock with Bleach* On The Rocks.

• Take a surfing lesson on the day of Bleach Street with Currumbin Alley Surf School with 1.5 hour lesson for $25 adults, and $20 for kids

$5 parking at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary (profits go to Animal Hospital Foundation)

Park N Ride and Pick Up Shuttle Details

There will be a Bleach* bus picking patrons up at 2 different locations for Bleach* Street. The Bleach* bus will be running from 10:30 through to 18:30 The bus will loop every half hour commencing at The Pines Shopping Centre.

The 2 pick-up locations:

1) The Pines Shopping Centre Cnr Guineas Creek Rd & KP McGrath Dr Elanora

2) Bus Shelter 379 – Outside Palm Beach Swimming Pool Thrower Drive, Palm Beach
