The Surfer and the Mermaid returns to Bleach* following a critically acclaimed season at the Bondi Pavilion, Sydney.

The sell-out festival favourite of 2012, The Surfer and the Mermaid, returns to Bleach* following a critically acclaimed two-week season at the Bondi Pavilion in Sydney. The Arts Centre Gold Coast in partnership with Bleach* will present the return season of The Surfer and the Mermaid in 2013.

This enchanting children’s theatre piece delivers a powerful environmental message that will delight and inspire. Directed by Melinda Collie-Holmes and starring Luke Townson, The Surfer and the Mermaid was written and adapted for the stage by surf writer Tim Baker with images by surf photographer Ted Grambeau.
