At Events

More than ever before it is our priority to ensure the health and safety of our Festival community, staff, volunteers and visitors.

Help us help you

We need your support to keep the Festival COVID Safe. Most importantly – stay at home if you’re feeling unwell.

We want BLEACH* 2022 to be just as enjoyable as any other year. To ensure the safety of everyone please take responsibility to:

  • Wash and sanitise your hands as often as possible.
  • Keep a 1.5 metre distance where you can.
  • Download the Qld Check in App on your Apple or Android.

Keeping our venues safe

Our venues will allow for space to enable physical distancing inside and outside. Venues will have mobile sanitising stations, increased and thorough cleaning schedules and new operational guidelines for food and beverage service. We have made specific considerations in our site design to accommodate physical distancing and hygiene and there will be volunteers on site to encourage patrons to follow the basic principles.

We need everyone to do their bit to keep us all safe. So we ask you to keep an eye and an ear out for COVID-19 signage and messaging and to follow the directions of Festival staff.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Yugambeh Language Region and all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People of the Gold Coast. We recognise their continuing connection and contributions to country and culture. We pay respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
