Mint Art House Collective
The Mintie Crew come together to unify collective voices, taking over an abandoned house in Chevron Island.
Mint Art House is a collaborative studio located in Burleigh Heads, housing 14 artists with disciplines ranging from ceramicists, to painters, sculptors, photographers and illustrators. Mint hosts artist-run workshops, artist talks and events.
Mint Art House presents the transformation of an abandoned house on Chevron Island, into an immersive art installation. The installation features fleecy clouds that float amidst a clear blue sky, representing clarity, hopefulness and reflection after a period of uncertainty.
The installation is a gaze into a new beginning for Chevron and a fresh start heading into 2021. The house has stood at Chevron since the 1970’s and the land it sits on is the first step into Chevron’s future.
