CURATED BY THE GOOD ROOM
Presented by BLEACH*
Calling all intergalactic life! Enter a star-studded universe for a one-night-only celestial celebration!
Dress up, get down and let loose in our cosmic nightclub filled with pop-up performances, psychic mediums and amorous astronauts. Somewhere between Studio 54 and A Galaxy Far Far Away, this is deep-space disco realness open to every person in LGBTQIA+ cosmic community, their allies and all alien life forms.
Whilst we encourage event-goers to make and capture memories at the festival, in the spirit of creating a safe space there may be times throughout the event where photography/videography will not be appropriate for sharing.”

The Good Room is a Queensland-based performance collective who create performance and installation, to grow and share empathy.
Theirs is an investigation of empathy, connectedness, stakes and sacrifice. This expresses itself in an aesthetic world that is both dark and light matter; a dichotomy of spectacle and depth. Mirrorballs, rose petals, panda suits and party dresses stud their theatrical universe but totems of party, play and celebration are often subverted; this is richly affirmative, highly contemporary, and widely accessible experiences—underpinned by rigour, ethics, and deep consideration.
The Good Room is Daniel Evans and Amy Ingram.
BLISS is both a performance and a dance party. Seating will be limited, so audience members requiring seating to attend the performance should get in touch with our team to discuss their needs. Wheelchair users are extremely welcome!
Audiences should expect moments of loud music, intense lighting effects and adult content. Those needing to take a break will be able to utilise our Quiet Room within the Cultural Centre.
BLISS will take place indoors, within the Broadbeach Cultural Centre. The venue can be accessed via flat, paved or concrete paths. For further information about the event location's accessibility, visit our Access page.
