LAWRENCE ENGLISH, LENINE BOURKE AND NATHAN STONEHAM, EMILY GRACE TAYLOR, LIESEL ZINK, LISA SMITH & RISING TIDE ARTISTS
Presented by BLEACH*
Curious to see what happens when artists make their art? For BLEACH* 2022, we’ve invited six groups of artists to practise full-time and in-residence at our North Burleigh Hub, in the lead-up to and during the Festival.
The artists work in public to create new work, specifically connected to place. Watch art-making in action, from the beginnings of an idea, through the process of creation and, finally, the culmination, when the new works premiere in the second week of the Festival. Come once and come again for this rare opportunity to witness the process of making art.
Find out more about our Festival Resident Artists here:
This program takes place outside of BLEACH* Festival dates and so the general access information for the 'North Burleigh Hub' does not apply.
Ed Hardy Park has a combination of grassed areas and pathways. Artists will be working in small studios throughout the residency period, with updates to come about specific public-facing sessions.
Patrons who are interested in attending the site during the residency period are encouraged to contact the BLEACH* team via email or phone to discuss their particular needs.
