JUSTENE WILLIAMS
Subtropical goth and hypercolour performance art? At BLEACH*, it’s a thing. This phenomenal, psychedelic event will saturate your senses.
We celebrate the outrageous designs of renowned Brisbane-based visual and installation artist Justene Williams, who works across media, and constructs elaborate sets and costumes made from collaged paper and repurposed objects, creating her own line of fantastical couture.
Soak up the sights to a soundtrack of post-punk metal, and prepare for a night of experiential overload.
“HER WORK VEERS JOYOUSLY BETWEEN THE RESPLENDENT AND THE ABSURD.”
– Rebecca Gallo, Art Guide
