ALL THE QUEENS MEN
Presented by BLEACH* & All The Queens Men
Step onto the dancefloor and trip the light fantastic with a rainbow community of old and new friends. This fun and fabulous free event for LGBTIQ+ elders and their allies (of all ages) returns to the Gold Coast for BLEACH* 2022.
Everyone’s welcome and no dance experience needed, just an urge to cut a rug – eco-glitter and glad rags optional. Let’s make whoopee as we shimmy to the music, and celebrate an intergenerational, inclusive LGBTIQ+ community on the Coast. Nibbles, tea and coffee provided.
All The Queens Men (ATQM) is one of Australia’s leading community-focused, contemporary arts companies. ATQM collaborate with communities of all shapes, sizes, and identities to produce transformative creative experiences that champion equality, social health, and human connection. Led by Tristan Meecham and Bec Reid, the Company values radical optimism, pride, activism, generosity, and respect. ATQM has become a leading voice within the LGBTIQ+ community globally, specifically for championing the rights of LGBTIQ+ elders, as expressed through projects such as LGBTIQ+ Elders Dance Club and Coming Back Out Ball.
LGBTIQ+ Elders Dance Club is a welcoming, inclusive event for all ages with a live band, short dance performances and facilitated social dance on a wooden floor.
