Making its inaugural launch at BLEACH* is an amusement park ride like no other. Get ready to rise and slide on The Double Backed Beast. This is the first ride in history to combine the latest in adrenaline mechanics with deep massage and intimacy technologies.

Hold on tight as you soar into the air. Gasp as you drop into a blissful abyss. The Beast’s unique design means participants maintain eye contact while experiencing its extreme endorphin rush. Take the chance and strap in for THE “intimacy experience” with your host, Renny Kodgers.

Double Backed Beast is a one-on-one experience with Renny Kodgers performed on stage at our Southport Hub.

The experience lasts for between 20-30 minutes.

The Double Backed Beast is enjoyed and viewed by audience members from within the Southport Hub without having to ‘ride’.

About the artist

Mark Shorter is Head of Sculpture at the Victoria College of Arts in the Faculty of Fine Art and Music, the University of Melbourne. His performances and installations question narratives around landscape, gender and the body by stretching and turning the ideologies that sit deep in their form to see what bends or breaks
