Let the tempo guide you at this interactive drumming workshop.

Explore a diverse range of cultures through the art of traditional beats, as talented musicians share their unique knowledge and skills with you. This inclusive experience is suitable for all ages and musical abilities and is the perfect chance to refine your skills before witnessing the awe-inspiring Heartbeats performance taking place the following weekend.

Each workshop is led by an experienced cultural tutor providing drums for attendees in a fun and interactive workshop, explaining the meaning behind the sounds and different techniques used.

There are three workshops to choose from:
Saturday 5 Aug, 12pm – Workshop with Nii Armah from Baala Baajo
Saturday 5 Aug, 2pm – Workshop with Kizuna Taiko
Sunday 6 Aug, 12pm – Workshop with Orana Dance Group
