Riverside Guitar Ensemble

Purveyors of virtuosic rhythms, Riverside Guitar Ensemble is led by critically acclaimed guitarist Karin Schuapp. The 18-piece band deliver a true celebration of the classical guitar to any stage they grace.

The ensemble has performed extensively at festivals and concerts throughout South-East Queensland and Northern NSW, and most recently they were invited to perform at the Adelaide Guitar Festival. Riverside continues to challenge the boundaries of repertoire for this unique ensemble combination, through their ongoing commissioning and premiering of new works.

The Con Artists Jazz Orchestra

Led by Queensland Conservatorium’s Head of Jazz (and former band member) Steve Newcomb, the band continues to be a platform for members to go on and forge successful careers as singers, musicians and composers.
