Directed by award-winning choreographer Emma Saunders, watch in awe as some of the country’s brightest artists converge on the same stage, including writer Felicity Castagna, composers Amanda Brown (The Go-Betweens) and Jodi Phillis (The Clouds), poet Warren Foster, and a cast of 10 dancers. This soul-stirring performance will explore the everyday extraordinariness and energy behind our next generation.
Award-winning director, choreographer, dancer, educator and producer, Emma Saunders is a formidable force in the performance world. Emma has spent the last 25 years honing her craft to create performances that inspire and move audiences. Often working with humour, everyday movement, text and repetition, her productions are true visual feasts.

Encounter Gold includes live and recorded sound, including sound effects, music and dialogue as well as movement and dance.
Encounter Gold will take place across several locations within the performance site. Audiences may need to move or adjust their angle of viewing to take in the performance fully. Audience members with particular seating or mobility needs should connect with BLEACH* staff either prior to the performance to discuss their needs.
