YIRINDA
Presented by BLEACH*
Roll out a picnic blanket on the banks of the Nerang River for a truly unique concert series that uses the Gold Coast’s natural beauty as its stage.
Performing from a floating barge, Yirinda take you on a spine-tingling musical journey via wireless headphones. Feel the energy and emotion of the performance stretching across the water, as talented musicians serenade you into sunset.
Comprising Butchella songman Fred Leone and contrabassist and producer Samuel Pankhurst, musical duo Yirinda blend ancient Aboriginal language with kaleidoscopic harmonies. Invoking the sounds of thousands of generations of history and culture through their musical mashups, their beats will stay with you long after the performance ends.

This event is primarily audio based, with music and sound central to the work. The audio is delivered to the audience member via a set of wireless headphones, provided by BLEACH*.
Seating for this event is outdoors, on a grassed inclined embankment next to the Nerang River. Seating will be limited and audience members with specific seating needs should get in contact with our team to discuss how we can best accommodate their needs.
