BLACKLINE & FRIENDS
Presented by BLEACH*
After selling out their show at BLEACH* 2023, Blackline Band return, bringing their body-shifting blend of soul, hip-hop and RnB to the North Burleigh stage for the final concert of the festival.
Deeply inspired by their culture and community in Bundjalung country, the six-piece musical outfit, led by brothers Jarulah and Banahm Slabb, will ignite the stage with their fresh sound and surprise special guests.
Blackline the band emerges with infectious rhythms and soulful melodies, blending vintage grooves with contemporary flair. Their sound is a fusion of tight basslines, groovy guitar riffs, punchy horns, and soulful vocals. Each member brings a unique energy, effortlessly syncing to create a tight-knit musical tapestry. Their performances are electrifying, this time they’re exited that they have the pleasure of bringing their friends to help them out. Not one to miss.
The full BLEACH* Access program will be released on Wednesday 17 June. Check back or visit our socials on this date for more information about Accessibility offerings at BLEACH* Festival 2024.
Acts performing on the live music stage are primarily sound-based. Sight is not required to enjoy close to the full experience of the work.
The Live Music Stage will have an accessible viewing area. This area will be close to the stage and accessible via a temporary matted surface, making it accessible to most wheelchair users.
The stage is in close proximity to other sound based works, which may result in overlapping sounds at times.
