The Love Your Local North Burleigh Hub is the beating heart of BLEACH*. Boasting a two-week program of free, family-friendly events, we invite you to stay for the day or drop in throughout the festival where good vibes are guaranteed.
Sip tipples at the Burleigh Brewing BLEACH* Bar and listen to the best GC musicians in town, or let goosebumps wash over you with soul-stirring performances at dawn and dusk or be entertained by out-of-the box experiences by award winning artists – the Love Your Local North Burleigh Hub is brimming with cultural adventures ready for the taking.
Find out all the LOVE YOUR LOCAL NORTH BURLEIGH HUB experiences here:
The site is made up of grassed areas with a large concrete pathway in the centre. Matting will be provided to connect the main pathway to the majority of event areas.
Events held on the beach (First Light and Last Light) have their own accessibility challenges and audience members should be sure to read the event-specific access information before deciding if attending is right for them.
The work HEXADECA is on a raised platform and may not be accessible to people requiring no-stairs access.
The site includes a bar area, food stalls and live music stage, so may be loud and have strong smells. Audience members will be free to come and go from the Hub as they please.

About Love Your Local | Together, let’s support local businesses and keep Burleigh buzzing! Keep shopping, eating, drinking and staying along the light rail alignment throughout works and beyond. Businesses located from Broadbeach south to Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast Highway need your support while Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3 works are underway. Even when work is occurring right outside a business, the shopfront looks different, and there is traffic and parking changes, don’t let that stop you from going through the front door. Love Your Local will run until construction is complete. There will be a range of advertisements, pop-up events and activations, shop local competitions and more. |
