Inking and Natural Fibres with Lisa Sorbie Martin

Join Torres Strait Islander artist Lisa Sorbie Martin as she shares the seamless relationship that exists between sustainability and art. In this soul-nourishing workshop, she will reveal how you can use recycled fibre yarns, organic cotton and eco inks to craft unique textiles telling your own story.

This workshop is a chance to experience one of the incredible BLEACH* workshops before the rest of the Coast, with thanks to our Support Partners, The Oasis.

Lisa Sorbie Martin is an artist and designer, creating visual art, textile design, wearable art, ceramics, and public installations. Drawing her passion and inspiration from her family, faith, culture, and the magnificent world we inhabit, her work combines her culture and creativity to produce and tell stories for all communities.
